To reserve an ADA accessible site please contact our Campground office at 907-224-4055 (ext. 1).

Camping is limited to no more than 14 consecutive days in one municipal campground. After 14 days, you may move to another municipal campground (subject to availability).

Reservation Changes:

You can request a one-time change to your reservation date or site for a $10 fee. Changes are not allowed to reservations with a start date of 2 days or less in advance. Submit a change request to sewardparks@cityofseward.net   Please allow up to 2 business days for a response due to limited staff. 

Cancellations/Refunds:

Our cancellation and refund policy is based on the timing of your cancellation notice prior to your reservation start date.

• 1+ week: Refund minus 15%
• 2-6 days: Refund minus 40%
• Prior to 1pm day of reservation: Refund minus 60%

There are No Refunds whatsoever outside of our cancellation policy.

There are three ways to cancel your reservation:

3. Call us at (907) 224-4055

Site availability is updated in real time on Campspot, i.e., as soon as a site becomes available (including cancellations) it will show on Campspot. We do not hold sites in reserve or maintain a waitlist. Please check Campspot for availability.

Campspot's search feature will only show sites that are available for the entire date range specified, i.e., sites with only partial availability will not appear in search results. If you cannot find availability for a given site, try adjusting the date range and repeating your search. Booking as far in advance as possible will give you the best chance of securing a site.

Check-in: Any time after 1:00 PM

We do not offer early check-in. You are checked in when you physically occupy your site with a valid permit visibly displayed on your camping unit. Failure to pay and display a valid camping permit shall result in a fine of $50.

Check-out: 11:00 AM

We do not offer late check-out. Failure to vacate by the check-out deadline will result in an automatic $50 fee charged to the card on file without additional notice—regardless, guests must immediately vacate any site for which they do not have a valid reservation.

Arrival / Departure Dates:

Your arrival date is the day you check-in (1:00 PM). Your departure date is the day you check-out (11:00 AM). For example:

If you booked an arrival date of June 1st and a departure date of June 2nd, you would be charged for 1 night, check-in would be any time after 1:00 PM on the 1st, and check-out would be before 11:00 AM on the 2nd.

If you booked an arrival date of June 1st and a departure date of June 3rd, you would be charged for 2 nights, check-in would be any time after 1:00 PM on the 1st, and check-out would be before 11:00 AM on the 3rd.

• No more than 2 common household pets (e.g. cats and dogs) per site.
• Must be leashed (6 ft. or less) and within owner's immediate reach at all times.
• Owner must promptly pick up and properly dispose of animal waste.
• May not disturb wildlife or other guests, e.g., noisy, aggressive, chases vehicles/bicycles.
• Pets are not permitted in any public buildings or structures, including bathrooms and pavilions.
• Management reserves the right to reject any animal.

In addition to water and electric service, our Premium RV sites offer a superior amenity, such as prime location, extra space, or other high-demand feature.

Located at the intersection of Ballaine Blvd and B St, opposite the entrance to Marathon Campground. Open 24/7. Dumping service is included with your reservation at no additional cost. Dump Location: Google Maps

The showerhouse is located in Resurrection campground near the intersection of Madison and Ballaine. Open 24/7 in the summer except during routine cleaning. Shower service is included with your reservation at no additional cost.

Booking as far in advance as possible will give you the best opportunity to secure the site you desire. Our busiest times of the season are as follows:

• Holiday weekends
• Fourth of July
• Seward Silver Salmon Derby weekends
• Peak fishing times

Spring Creek campground, located on the east side of Resurrection Bay, typically has more vacancies compared to other locations.
