The Seward Community Library & Museum is a unique combined public library, museum, archives and community center serving Seward and the surrounding area providing opportunities for equal access to information, technology, lifelong learning, community enrichment, and the preservation of Seward’s heritage.  

Museum Winter Hours (October 1 - April 30)

Free Admission.

  • Friday, 10am - 6pm
  • Saturday, 10am - 5pm
  • Closed Sunday and Monday.

  • Appointments required for room use and passport applications.

Movie@2, Tuesday to Sunday at 2pm, (May 1 to September 21st only)

  • We are pleased to announce that we will be showing Waves Over Seward: The Good Friday Earthquake
  • Approximately 25 minutes
  • Admission is $5 person, children 12 & under free. We only accept cash, no cards.
  • We thank the Seward Community Library Association for giving us special permission to show the movie to the public!

Public Use Computers

The Seward Community Library & Museum can give you access to public use computers as well as new Young Adult computers and Children's computers.
