Library Museum Building Project
The idea to combine the Seward Community Library and Seward Museum began long before 2008 when the project took shape. The Seward Community Library & Museum was built in 2012 and the library opened January 12, 2013 and the museum opened May 11, 2013 with much celebration.
The support of our community and community leaders made this extraordinary project possible along with the generosity of the Rasmussen Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and many, many other businesses and private supporters. Our gratitude cannot be expressed enough. You may thank them by visiting and making it your library, museum and community center!
